A story shaped
by resilience

I am a first generation college student, born in Paraguay and raised in New York after immigrating to the United States at age seven. I am currently pursuing a B.A. in Computer Science with a Cybersecurity minor at Florida Atlantic University, focusing on penetration testing, system assurance, and identifying vulnerabilities that impact real world infrastructure.

During my freshman year, I interned with the U.S. House of Representatives, gaining early exposure to public service, professional communication, and the weight of handling sensitive information in high accountability environments.

"Security is most powerful when it's invisible. Until you need it."

For nearly three years, I have worked with CLEAR across South Florida and New York, from biometric identity verification and sales at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport to leading ambassador teams at venues including Barclays Center, Yankee Stadium, and Madison Square Garden. As a Security Intern in New York, I moved into governance, risk, and compliance work: validating updated NIST SP 800 53B control language, analyzing software risk through malware sandboxing, shadowing HIPAA and PCI DSS assessment workflows, and building an AI powered Slack bot that cut manual threat monitoring workload by 30%.

I later completed a product security internship with a Fortune 500 technology company, where I helped migrate and standardize product security documentation, built an AI assistant to help developers and auditors identify applicable security requirements, and sat in on secure code reviews and vendor security assessments.

As a Cybersecurity Tech Fellow at CodePath, I mentored 25+ students through a 10 week CTF style program covering cryptography, Linux, password cracking, malware detection, and steganography, leading ethical hacking and social engineering discussions and training students on CyberChef, John the Ripper, Shodan, VirusTotal CLI, and the Social Engineering Toolkit.

My involvement in student leadership runs deep: I currently serve as Vice President of INIT at FAU, a new chapter helping students launch tech careers, and previously served on the SHPE Executive Board, first as a Finance Committee member and later as Co Chair of SHPEtinas, where I led initiatives, panels, and mentorship programs empowering Latina women in STEM. I am also the only undergraduate on a graduate H4D team developing UAV multisensor fusion for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and I've completed early insight programs with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase exploring finance and technology career paths.

My journey as an immigrant, student, and aspiring cybersecurity professional has shaped my resilience, discipline, and sense of purpose. These are things I bring into every environment I enter.
